Green Tea. Get to know the secrets!

Just to let you know, today I decided to start doing Gym... again! I know I am not a quitter I just get too disappointed when I can't see any difference. But the secret is being patient and don't look at the mirror everyday to notice any difference because that's the worse we can do.
Leave the mirror alone for 2 weeks (only if you are going to look at it because of your body) and you will notice the difference. That will help you getting courage to keep up.
After some research and based in some comments, I decided to start and do not stop until Summer time! Now I know what to do and I have motivation! I am willing to go 5 days a week and of course pay attention to what I eat.

Now... the exciting part... Do you know Green Tea can do miracles? Well... not exactly miracles, but some really amazing things that you probably didn't know.

  1. It helps you reducing weight
  2. Detoxifies
  3. Speeds up the metabolism
  4. Facilitates digestion
  5. It's good for your skin because it's taken from the Camellia sinensis plant, has high concentrations of antioxidants and C and E vitamins which acts against wrinkles.
  6. Prevention of heart disease. Its compounds reinforce arteries, decrease cholesterol and blocks the accumulation of fat in the blood vessels wall.
  7. Prevention of inflammation of the gums and even malignant breast and mouth tumors.

Isn't this great? I have always loved tea, but I never had a specific one that I could drink everyday. My mum always forced me to drink tea when I was ill and I never knew why until recently. Green tea is an amazing option for people who are in diet or are in some bad health situations.

Although, there are some ways of drinking it, so is more effective. My advice is to drink it 30 minutes before any meal, and 2 hours after. This because there are some people that can't drink liquids with an empty stomach or people who get heartburn and sick when drinking something after meal.

Drink twice or three times per day and in 15 days you will notice a huge difference! If you have any questions or need any tip you are more than welcome to do it, and I will help you.

Tip: I highly recommend people who are in diet to drink Green Tea, it's a way of helping you losing weight and speed up the metabolism so the fat doesn't remain in your body and create cellulite.

Free from assignments this term!

I can finally take a relief breathe! The assignments and exams epoch have finished.
This term was really hard to manage because of the diversity of assignments we had to do.
I am doing a Digital and Creative Media course and I am already on Level 3 first year which means I only have this and next year to study and then I will be prepared for the Work World which to be honest, scares me a little bit. The course I am doing is all about the Media World:
  • Television
  • Advertisement
  • Photography
  • Journalism
  • Graphics
  • Films
I really like it thought, but it's really hard to manage everything. For example, the last assignment I had, we had 4 weeks to complete it, so imagine how hard that was, but I finally finish it and I am really proud of my hard work!
I am working, studying and taking my GCSEs at the same time, it's a little bit complicated and tricky... can't lie, but if we know how to manage our time we will have time for everything and perhaps have a spare time for our lifestyle outside College World.
Some of my friends are already in Holidays since last week but I am not, only at the end of this week which makes me SO happy! This term felt so big that I was absolutely looking forward to see the end of it.
The media sector I want to follow is Journalism. I know it takes a lot of our time and it's really hard but with effort and practice I will succeed and that's one of the most important ambitions I have at the moment.

2 weeks free from College... feels so good!

Spring Haul

It has been a while since I did my last spring haul. And why? Because it's Spring time guys!
Spring it's finally here and I am so excited to feel the warm sun that makes us feel so happy and much more calm! I love the sun,  I am totally a different person when it's sunny outside! See the flowers appearing in the trees... everything looks so green and happy, the combination of the blue sky and the sun it's so marvellous!

The only problem it's just my allergies... yes... I do have them during almost the three months of Spring. The pollen isn't my friend I have to admit but it's ok, as long the sun is out!

So based on the spring season, I set myself free to buy some blouses that I really enjoyed and share them with you.

I went into two different stores to adquire my clothes. One is internationally known, Bershka and the other store, Boohoo, I just know because of Zoella's videos where she once mentioned about this store and once I access to it I instantly felt in love! The prices aren't that expensive and not that cheap, it depends. Unfortunately it doesn't have a proper to store to go and try the clothes on so I just have to guess that it will fit me quite well and I never dissapointed myself to be honest... If any of you is interested in the website http://www.boohoo.com.
Bershka is a good thing because we can go directly to the store and try the clothes on and have them straight away, but if you don't have time to go and collect from the store, you can access to their website and you can buy online! If you are interested in the website http://www.bershka.com/gb/en.

I hope you enjoy this little haul and I hope I could give you some more ideas for your clothes collection.

Talent Show 2015. One step ahead.

This is one of the most amazing things I love to do. Dancing is the only thing that can change my day when sometimes seems everything goes wrong.
I can't have a proper definition for what dancing is, what does it means to me. I just know that it's a way of expressing our feelings without speaking, a way of let all our problems behind and just have those 3 amazing minutes of JUST US!

When I notice, I see myself smiling and laughing when I am dancing, I don't know... It's just a thing that was born with me and will die with me even if I am a really old lady. I will dance until I can't stand anymore.

I give everything of me to the dance, I let happiness enter into my body and I just feel the vibe inside and I create moves.

Since when I was little I wanted to go to another country and go to a really good professional dance school and realize my dream, to become a professional dancer and have my own course so I can teach to others what I know, what dance is and let other people fall in love with the dance in the same way I am.

Iif anyone asks me "What do you think about dance?" I smile. I smile because I have no words to describe it! If you think about it no one dances sadly, only with a smile on their faces! Even if they don't know how to dance which in my opinion that doesn't exist! There Everyone know how to do everything, but that means to put effort in it, to dedicate yourself to that only thing. And then, there are those people that were born with certain gifs. It's a mistery.

I have been dancing since I was just a little girl with 4/5 years old and unfortunatelly I didn't have no one to teach me how to dance and for 6 years I had to teach myself by watching TV Shows and just by listening musics and create my own steps. Then, I went into a dance group in my old country for 2 years. I learned A LOT, and it was the best experience of my life! No doubts!

I am in London now, the country of opportunities and I am going to hold into that with everything! And most important, I will never, never, going to give up on what's truly important for me. My dream.

Week's favourites

Happy weekend! This week I decided to write about my favourite products/objects of the week as I never done one.
This 8 products I chose are my favourites since a while so... why not write about them?

The first product is the perfume ghost eclipse eau de toilette. This perfume is one of my favourites at the moment. It literally smells amazing! And the best thing is when I use it in the morning it lasts me for the whole day so I don't need to keep it on my bag (it's always full of things!). The one I bought was on the store Boots and it wasn't expensive, so give it a try and you won't regret it! To be honest, I use it quite a lot so I am almost running out of it and I definitely want to get another one. The smell it's so soft and at the same time so exotic, I cannot even explain but you MUST try it, trust me!

The second product is the camera Cannon Ixus 155. I bought it recently, last month to be more precised, in the store Currys. The price wasn't too high and for such brand I couldn't leave it there while it was staring at me and screaming at me "please take me, please take me". It's a camera with 20 megapixels so you can imagine the quality of it. And also, when I bought the camera I had to get a memory card and I was informed that if we buy a really goos camera but the memory card isn't as good as the quality of the camera, the pictures won't be that good, so I just bought a 8GB memory card with high quality. They work absolutely superb together. By the way, it's this camera that I take my pictures for my blog so if you want to make sure about the quality, have a look at them on my previous posts.

The third product is the mascara Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme Mascara Leather Black. I can't leave without this mascara! It's just perfect! It has everything that I want. It lasts until I clean it off, it's black, it makes my eyelashes much bigger and beautiful, it realces my eyes, when I use it, it automatically seperates my eyelashes from each other so they don't look so sticky and with those black things when it looks like we put the whole package on our eyelashes (Hope I made myself clear). I think I have bee using this mascara for about 5, 6 months and I have tried different ones and let me tell you that there is none comparing to this one.

The fourth product is the Tresemmé Keratin Mask and I bought it in Superdrug store. I am going to be honest... I did only use it twice, altought, it was enough to instantly fall in love with it. My hair felt so soft and so shiny that when I was brushing it I couldn't feel those hitches. The function of this mask is to protect our hair from getting dry and broken, and it helps strightining after we blow dry it. This mask works together with the 2 next products below.

The fifth product is the Shampoo and Conditioner of the Treseme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Collection. I chose to put this products on my week's favourites because I use them on my daily basis and I think I need to share with you the same feeling that I feel when I use them. These products helps us to get a salon-gorgeous hair at home for 7 days up to 3 washes. They are not pricy, and even if it was, I think it's always good to give a try to some of these products. If you are like me and you like to feel your hair really soft and odoriferous, and you straight it often I think these might be the right ones for you. It's also important to refer that the next product is also from the Tresemmé collection and it helps the Shampoo, the Conditioner and the Mask to work altogether.

The sixth product is the 7 Day Heat Activated Treatment. This helps your hair from being protect by the heat of the the blow drier or the straightner and it smells amazing! This is the product that helps your hair from lasting up to 3 washes with the straight effect so you do only need to use it on the first wash and after the 2 next washes is not necessary but if you are like me and you want to make sure use it after every wash.

The seventh product is the new Iphone headphones. I know it sounds a little bit strange to mention this on my favourites but this is defenitely the product I use every single day. I am no one without music and with a good quality headphones, it's even better. I think it's one of my healthy adictions. They are a little bit expensive but not something exorbitant so if you can afford it I recommned them. I mean... Apple has really high quality products and I cannot complain about them, because I am always satisfied with their products.

The last but not least product, is the lipstick I Found Nemo from the gorgeous Tanya Burr that I bought in the Superdrug Store, again. she is a YouTuber and I started to watch her videos because of the amazing Zoe Sugg, know as Zoella. This lisptick was really hard to find, which is awkard because of the name! I had to pre order it and wait at least a month to finally have it. I love the smell, the texture, the colour, how long it lasts, everything! So... congratulations Tanya, you did a very good job! She has a huge range of them but this was the one that called my attention. They are a little bit pricy for just a lipstick but because of the qualities, I think it's worth it.

Mind the gap! Oxford Street

Today I decided to spend half of my day with my mum in Oxford Street, one of the most known places in London.

I literally love it so much that when I go there I can't come back home with no bags from my favourite stores. Bershka, Pull and Bear, New Look and Top Shop.

Oxford Street has approximately 300 stores! Is a huge road with 2.4 kilometres long where we can find any type of store and obviously, there are lots and lots of people, sometimes it gets too full that I can't stay there for too long specially in special ocasions or when it's sunny.

To be honest I didn't go to lots of stores, probably only 6 of them, which is nothing comparing to the diversity of stores that we can find over there.

I love the buses and the taxis in the UK, I just think it's so pretty and old fashion! I mean... who doesn't? Everyone that comes to this country wants to go into it at least once and I agree with them because when I first came here that was definitely one of the most important things I wanted to do.

In special ocasions, such as Christmas, Oxford Street is decorated with lots of festive lights and when we go from the beggining of the road until the end of it, it seems like we are in some kind of mini village. It looks so cosy and with all of those lights we feel it's Christmas, I love it! And when I leave I just want to go there again.

I had a change to buy some things on my favourite stores and I just wanted to go and look for more clothes because... yes... and I am a little bit shopaholic! But my feet were screaming at me telling me to go home!

Playing with old fashion

I have always loved the old fashion! It's so much more simple to combine outfits.

I appreciate tight clothes but the baggy ones are more comfortable. For example, the blouse above.

The spotty blouse & Necklace
To start I bought the spotty blouse in the store Stradivarious in Portugal and it was in sales which is even better (No longer available in store). It's really soft and it's black & white which is my favourite combination. With black clothes we are always dressed perfectly, for a casual look or for special occasions. Let's be honest, black is the perfect colour for an outfit and it's never out of fashion.
The neckalce I bought in the store Claire's in London and it was in sales too! One of my favourite times of the year (I do have lots, just saying). I am not sure from what year is that style of necklaces but I do think it's around the 30's? Let me know in the comments what it is if I am wrong guys. It's a type of accessorize that young women like to use and I support them. It's so cute and different from the usual that it makes them even more pretty.

Vintage Jeans
Secondly, the vintage jeans that nowadays almost every woman have at least a pair of them in the closet. It's true, the high wasted jeans are fashionable again and I absolutely love it! The high wasted jeans came out in the 70's and it's a style that usually consists of a high waist (rising above the belly button), making buttocks appear disproportionately longer, larger and flatter than they otherwise might.
It also tends to have excess space in the zipper and leg areas and is often accompained by a blouse that is tucked into the jeans.
The jeans are usually in a solid and light-blue color.

Ankle Boots
I bought this boots in the store River Island which is still available if you are interested.
These boots are the cutest thing! With these type of boots with little gaps on it we can use with cute little socks, it's just beautiful!
I have seen young girls using them and I decided to buy ones as well and let me tell you that I don't regret it, at all!

You don't need to create content everyday

It's totally fine don't create content every day. Always remember that you have a life outside your blog and you are not obligated to have ideas everyday for your posts.

Every blogger should have the dexterity of writing fluently and make their followers happy with their posts. However, this situation could be reversed by the pressure of posting every day and blogging is not an obligation, at all!

If we think about posting everyday, one day we won't know what to write and we are just going to write things that perhaps doesn't make sence. This situation can happen over and over again until a time where blogging is no longer a happy hobbie to do but an obligation.

Solutions:
  • If you don't have frequent ideas, produce weekly posts
  • Research about topics and write about them (note: don't copy, make it on your own words and ideas)
  • Visit places and talk about them. Their history, what it means to you...
  • Get a notebook and write down your subjects.  Organise them with suggestions and ideas
  • ALWAYS keep your notebook in your bag, you never know what can come up on your head
  • Set yourself any target
  • Leave it for another productive day
  • Go through your old posts and edit them
  • Edit your templates, images, fonts, colors... You will never be "offline" from your blog and people will love the fact of you being so productive
  • Do not push your self too hard, let the ideas come spontaneously, you will notice it will be much easier and you will have fun with your blog

Right... Have you ever thought about it?
If you don't know what to write and nothing comes up in your head, share your old posts!
Don't think just because you wrote a post, you can leave it behind and get ready for the next post. That's not correct. My advise is to NEVER leave your old posts behind, share it on your social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google +, Instagram, VK etc, so people will always be up to date with all of your posts.

The key words are share it and re-share it. Keep sharing your posts no matter how old they are. With this idea, your posts will never "get lost" and you will not be "offline" from your blog.

Also, try to edit your older posts if you think they didn't have as much visualizations as the others had and afterwards share them! It's always a good method.
